All work places are mandated to comply with the Sexual Harassment for Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013. Non-compliance to the Act is treated as criminal offence. Gurgaon First has organised six public workshops on women safety with various Police Commissioners of Gurugram as well as with Kiran Bedi post the
Nirbhaya incident. Our team members have been appointed as Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) members at prominent corporates and a school in Gurgaon. Shubhra Puri has been on the advisory committee of first Local Complaints Committee (LCC), Gurugram set up by the District administration, Gurugram. She is also a member of the “One Stop Centre for Women” (Sakhi) Management Committee of District Gurugram.
