The experience was both enriching and humbling. It was enriching as I got exposure to various facets of organising a workshop from scratch, be it scouting for sponsors or reaching out to potential participants through campaigns. I had an opportunity to be part of writing and researching for “Gurgaon handbook on Solar”. There was considerable learning too here in honing my writing and research skills. The experience was humbling, because it was wonderful to be part of something that was intended at the greater good of society and environment that we live in today.

I worked with Gurgaon First as consultant from 2014. In that time I observed that Gurgaon First is known name for making Gurugram sustainable it’s founder Shubhra Puri is not only a passionate person also committed to bring positive changes in Gurugram through workshop’s, seminars and handbooks. Shubhra and her team chooses each topic carefully, which are need of the hour, be it Solarizing Gurugram, Waste management, Air pollution or Woman safety. I particularly remember our success on launching of first handbook on Solar, since than mission of sensitising and to create awareness among more and more people in the millennium city is going on.
